It’s not rare to hear people using words like ‘rowdy’, ‘disrespectful’ and ‘a scourge on our streets’ when they talk about skateboarders.
But a new report published in the Journal of Adolescent Research paints a different picture.
It says Skateparks are positive places, which encourage civic responsibility and social skills.
