VOLCOM STONE WILD IN THE PARKS 2010

This event is a FREE event open to everyone who wants to enter with tons of prizes to take home.

Wild in the Parks is about giving back. With this in mind, the series is entirely free for competitors. There is a free lunch and absolutely no entry fees, so anyone can sign up to compete in one of the three divisions: 14 and under, 15 and over and Pro-Am. At least the top 5 skaters from the 14 - and 15 + divisions go home with loads of prizes while the Pro-Am division winners receive prizes as well as cold hard cash. Top 3 of each category also receive invites to this year’s European WITP Championships going down in Prague, Czech Republic Sat Sept 25 with more prizes to win and plane tickets to the WITP Champs (Phoenix, AZ Sat Sept 26 ($20,000 cash purse)!).

The Wild in the Parks was born when we noticed something needed to change in the amateur skateboard contest scene. We decided to take a different path, a road less traveled, and offer something new and entirely different. We came up with an event format that alleviates both stress and boredom while increasing involvement.
Think of the event like three best trick contests; skaters are judged on the tricks they pull in three separate park “zones”, never on their bails.

So, come and hang out, eat some free food, skate, support their friends, and go home with a ton of free prizes!
